Doesn’t Florida have a PUBLIC agency known as “The Public Utilities & Exchange Commission”? that sets, votes on & approves or puts down a rise or fall in utility rates? Or can the “GOV” (see “Blazing Saddles”) sign an EXE order over-riding the agency? My understanding is that this agency was established TO PREVENT ANY ONE INDIVIDUAL OR UTILITY CO. from messing around with utility rates (like taking &/or giving bribes) WITHOUT PUBLIC OVERSIGHT. Does FL not have that agency in place, like every other state in the Union has?
My wife and I left communist Connecticut because of all the taxes that gave us nothing in return!!! We came to Florida to keep our hard-earned money only to see it taken from us again in higher insurance and especially electric rates. I think DeSantus has sold out to the globalists….
Such an obvious quid pro quo, and all it took was $9.5 million. You’d think he could’ve made some effort to hide it. Geez.
