There were plenty of patriots protesting which is their right…biggest civil rights protest in history. The police threw flash grenades into a crowd of protesters who were outside the capitol instigating violence. There were also antifa agitators disguised within the crowd instigating violence…the instigation of violence was a conspiracy by the dems and FBI (who intentionally did not arm the capitol) so that they could advertise the event as a violent attack in order to manipulate support for their agenda of control.
It seems that, from a law-enforcement perspective, mobilizing as many (defensive) troops as possible is the best strategy. SOP!
