I am not sure what rally you were watching as the one I was watching had a competent, entertaining and confident leader speaking.
I usually address fools with my messages as all I know one when I see one. (All my social skills came from Don Rickles 🙂

But more Americans died in the Civil War than any other war in our history.
Picking up guns or starting violence will do nothing but speed up the destruction of the country. That is what our enemies would like to see happen. They are behind the divisiveness.
