Ok when I say Jesus was Jewish I mean first and foremost ethnically. But yes, He was a practicing Jew during His life…after all, He was God who wrote the Law, so of course He followed it, celebrated Passover, etc. until He fulfilled the Law with His death. Afterwards, of course, there was no further need for sacrifices. Of course His message wasn’t about sacrifices–Israel already knew about that. The religious leaders of the day had added a ton of laws of their own, however, and were hypocritical, and He rebuked them.
