Maybe Trump should consider actually reading the Presidential Records Act. If he did, he would discover that it says, very clearly, that Presidential records are public, not private. Furthermore, they must be turned over to the National Archives when he leaves office.
Trump’s private residence is not public – hence, the word “private.” Keeping them in his private residence is not turning them over to the National Archives.
Any seventh-grader could read those words, and correctly interpret them.
