I know how you feel in a way…sometimes I think it’s worse knowing the truth about things. It makes watching what’s going on today even more maddening! But I know that knowing the truth is always better than ignorance. Cling to that. Also, I agree with Elizabeth’s advice to you–turn off the news, get away from it all for a couple days, watch something that makes you laugh or feel good. I don’t know what things you like, but I love the oldies like “The Andy Griffith Show” and (my very favorite) “Hogans Heroes.” Last weekend I watched one of my favorite Disney movies, their animated “Robin Hood” (with animal characters). There’s actually a lot of parallels between the Robin Hood story and current events, and Prince John is hilarious in that version! I listened to “The Phony King of England” song the times lol.

I’m absolutely No fan of John McCain . All his awful decisions were all around how much attention he could get .
For example, he is the reason we now have the so called Affordable Care Act & all the Horrible rules that go along with it .
This post is a sure confirmation of God’s TRUTH at work presently! I am battling right now, even in these moments, to be released/delivered from this curse, I continually rail against! on my life, all these years.Whether stemming (allowed) from my own sins (PLENTY!) or the sins of my ancestors: I believe both are reasons for it. The release does require, w/o exception, accepting responsibility for our sins, both known/unknown, in TRUTH! and MORE importantly in FAITH in the Lord, Jesus Christ, who took on MY (our) CURSES on that cross! Forgiveness is necessary to be released/FREE from It. It requires obedience, honesty, and continued repentance to God. An honest and true desire to turn over my life in FULL to the Lord, Jesus, who saved me, willingly paying the price for my iniquites in death on the cross. To LIVE for Him. To walk the path required for freedom. The narrow path. In Thanksgiving!
So, I seek Forgiveness of ALL WHO HAVE HARMED ME and forgiveness of MYSELF. This being absolutely the “battle” I am in, on-going, and it won’t be over until God allows, thru my obedience to Him, to attain this forgiveness.
Can’t be faked, it can’t be ignored, and it can’t be forgotten..over these past years I HAVE forgiven, repeatedly, only to fall back in anger and resentment, over and over again, blaming others, due to the memories of so much pain, unhappiness, and loss I’ve personally endured (in my life).
And so I continue to find myself here, again, having to RENEW my FORGIVNESS , and the hardest is forgiving myself, because in my weakness it is those I love the most who I let down the most! Even allowing (unknown to me at the time) this “curse” to extend into their lives. So FORGIVING SELF, may be the hardest part of all! And most important.
So my advice for Megan, my prayer for her now, would be that she comes to realize what I’m sharing here, for herself..
And I give THANKS TO THE LORD, ALMIGHTY JESUS, for not giving up on me!! ON US!! His grace and mercy are enduring for those who seek him diligently!
And for any out there, who I may know personally, I forgive you now, and I ask that you may find it in your hearts to forgive as well, for any wrongs I may have committed against you.
For the world to change, to be what we all SO DESIRE, it’s necessary that we ALL face GOD/CREATOR and OURSELVES! honestly, in full forgiveness, going forth to live RIGHTOUSLY, in LOVE and in repentance, and OBEDIENCE to God, his word! Honoring each other!
