The American People also see that January 6 has become the Democrats’ excuse and pretext for the most chilling assault on the civil liberties of American citizens in generations. It is being used to justify outrageous attacks on free speech, widespread censorship, de-platforming, calls for increased domestic surveillance, appalling abuse of political prisoners, labeling opponents of COVID lockdowns and mandates as national security threats, and even ordering the FBI to target parents who object to the radical indoctrination of their children in school. And this week, January 6 is also the Democrats’ excuse for trying to pass a radical Federal takeover of state election law. They are trying to BAN voter ID and other basic measures that can ensure the sacred integrity of the vote.
The reason the Democrats are doing all of this is not because they believe they will win a fair and honest election. It’s because they know they will overwhelmingly LOSE one.
Remember, I am not the one trying to undermine American Democracy—I am the one trying to SAVE American Democracy.
Today, I am more confident than ever in the strength and common sense of the American People. If Biden is impeached and removed – a very big IF – then Kamala Harris becomes President. Then, she nominates a new Vice-President, and that nomination is approved by a majority vote of both houses of Congress.
If, then, Kamala Harris is impeached and removed – an even bigger IF – then that new Vice-President becomes President. Then, the new President nominates a new Vice-President, and that nomination is, in turn, approved by another majority vote in both houses of Congress.
Point being, Trump, the putative Speaker of the House, does not become President. The vacancies in the offices of President and Vice-President continue to be successively filled, in the manner I just described.
But let’s be clear: Even if the Republicans take control of the House this fall, the chances they’ll choose Donald Trump to be Speaker are almost nil. And while there’ll be considerable pressure from rank-and-file Republicans to make him Speaker, it’s not going to happen. There are two reason why it won’t.
First, the role of Speaker of the House is very different from that of the Presidency. Trump has no knowledge whatsoever of the job, immediately rendering him an ineffective, bumbling, error-prone Speaker. The House of Representatives simply cannot operate under those conditions – and every single member of the House, Democrats and Republicans alike, knows it. They can’t. and won’t, let the House be led by a person who doesn’t know the job, doesn’t really want the job, and – let’s be honest – isn’t there to do the job. He’d be there under false pretenses, because he thinks it’ll get him back into the White House – which is almost certainly not going to happen. So what would be have? An overwhelmed, dissatisfied, impatient, incompetent Speaker of the House, waiting around for something that isn’t going to happen anyway.
The second reason it won’t happen is a bit more pragmatic, and for this, I’ll use the logical example of Rep. Kevin McCarthy. It’s no secret that McCarthy wants to be Speaker of the House. That’s not surprising; there are, literally, dozens of House members who’d like to be. Does anyone honestly think Kevin McCarthy would simply step aside, and allow someone else – even Donald Trump, a non-member of the House – to take the job instead? Especially given Trump’s obvious inability to do the job. Say what you will about Kevin McCarthy; he wants to be Speaker, and he fully intends to be. And nobody, not even Donald Trump, is going to stop him. And his Republican colleagues are not about to let him be stopped either.

Especially since they are rapidly destroying everything. The people do see, and only too clearly. They are very afraid and feel isolated from America because we are. Too much damage already. We are surrounded by aliens that are getting our money, and basically a better life that most Americans, and they do not even like us. And still coming in droves. The fear and depression is overwhelming and the loss of savings is devastating to a lot of people. I really do not know what will happen while we desperately try to wait it out.
