As I mourn the loss of Queen Elizabeth II, for I was 10 years old when she became Queen, and as I listen to the multitude of condolences for her lost; I am reminded and grateful of my good fortune to have been born into the exceptional country of the United States of America. I say this not out of irreverence but of thankfulness that I am not a subject of rule, but a decider of rule. May she rest in peace with her Lord, and may she reunite with former subjects of the Crown, our Founding Fathers, who gave me the privilege to be a free man, and who also rest in eternity with the Lord.
