I’m a little disturbed at how many people seem to think Trump’s announcement today will have to do with Qanon rumors (where these come from I don’t know). I had hoped by now people would realize they are putting faith in theories that have no basis in reality. And mind you, from the little I know about Qanon, I think there’s probably more truth to this stuff than most give it credit for; it’s just so mixed up with over-the-top ideas that most people simply dismiss it all. Trump is not going to suddenly declare himself president and take over. He can’t. He doesn’t have that authority! As wonderful as that idea is, it’s a fantasy. Today he is simply going to announce he is running for president in 2024. I’m 100% positive. He’s made that very obvious. He’s all but said it already; he’s simply been waiting for the midterms to be over. So please don’t be disappointed and get angry with him for not fulfilling some dubious “prophecy” he probably has never heard of! Believe me, I have tried to word this nicely because I don’t want to offend people. But this will be a 2024 announcement, nothing more. If I’m wrong, I will be astounded (and you are welcome to say “I told you so!”).

Thank you to everyone who spoke up for me, including Prize and Shell. That’s the way this country is supposed to be, people arguing in a civil manner. When I worked at the polls on Election Day, we had to work in bipartisan teams, so I spent all day alongside people from the Democrat party I never met before, and you know what? We hit it off great and had a fun time working together. One guy said to me what a good experience it was and it was too bad our leaders can’t do the same.
