“President Donald Trump spoke Saturday night at the South Carolina Republican Party’s annual Silver Elephant dinner.
Prior to President Trump’s speech, South Carolina Speaker of the House Murrell Smith endorsed President Trump. “After carefully considering all of the candidates running — including two fantastic individuals I personally know from South Carolina — I am convinced that Donald J. Trump is the only person who can rescue our nation from the disastrous policies of the Biden-Harris administration,” South Carolina House Speaker Smith wrote in a Post and Courier op-ed.
Smith is one of many leading South Carolina Republicans to endorse President Trump. President Trump is endorsed by Governor Henry McMaster, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, Lt. Governor Pamela Evette, Treasurer Curtis Loftis, and U.S. Representatives Joe Wilson, William Timmons and Russell Fry.
In a speech before President Trump took the stage, Gov. McMaster remarked, “These cases against Donald Trump are losers. It has been said that you can put lipstick on a pig, but I don’t think all the lipstick in the world can turn these pigs into princesses.”
Highlights from President Trump’s speech:
President Trump: “I’m being indicted because they are afraid of all of us because we have a movement that’s never been seen in the history of our country — Make America Great Again.”
President Trump: “To bring tens of thousands more manufacturing jobs back to South Carolina, I will impose a border tariff on all foreign made goods.”
President Trump: “On Day One, I will sign a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing critical race theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content on our beautiful children.”
President Trump: “Crooked Joe Biden cares only about enriching his own family…I care about enriching your family.”
President Trump: “As soon as we get back in the White House, I will end the disaster known as Bidenomics, and we will once again implement the proven economic formula that puts America first!”
President Trump: “Those Indictments aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.”
President Trump: Bidenomics “will be defined as inflation, taxation, submission, and failure.””

Dear President Donald J. Trump, yes, I watched your dinner in South Carolina last night. Thank you! it was very good as usual. You are the best. I can’t wait until you are back in the White House and all these criminals are rounded up and carted off to jail. It is terrible for me or anyone to have such horrible feelings about a whole administration, but the corruption is so deep and affects so many agencies in the government. Thank GOD that you were born to take care of business. You are a strong superman and the whole nation looks to you. Nobody else could do it.
