Tax cuts? Is that the way you built successful businesses, by lowering your revenue and borrowing more money than you could ever pay back?
Tax cuts generally apply to those whose incomes are already being supplemented. Earned Income Credit and Child Tax Credits have created generations that know exactly how much they need to earn (above the table) so they can file taxes and receive tax refunds of thousands and thousands of dollars.
Social Security benefits are taxed on what family members earn. Seniors don’t get tax credits.
It’s past time for a National Sales Tax that applies to everyone, citizens, non-citizens, tourists. (exemption from tax on healthcare related items and foods) You live in a state with this type of tax rather than personal income tax. Surely, you have noticed how well it works.
A national sales tax is a great idea… the only problem is that the federal government can’t surveil their subjects with this type of tax.
